I believe
many, if not most Americans never expect to find themselves having to sue someone.
This is
also why most of us have only the faintest idea of what to do to find a good
attorney.
What do you
do when a business transaction goes wrong and you believe you've been cheated,
but the
other party is 800 miles away? For a lot of us, you'd do what we did. We went
to the
internet and
starting looking up attorneys in the local area. There's a list, what next?
Well, after
finding 'your' specialty and a board certified licensed attorney, you basically roll
the dice and hope
for the
best. We did just that. Despite a belief that if luck was to be found it wasn't
to be by us,
we found
the person we needed to represent our case.
Now you may
have noticed that I've used the word attorney up
to that last sentence. That's
because Teresa Persico is more than just her title and credentials. She'll work hard
for you,
without doubt, as she did for us. She will give you an honest opinion on your legal
standing in
regards to the particular facts of your case and you will find her responsive to your
questions
and concerns both legally and financially. More than that though, she's personable,
truly decent and genuinely concerned with your plight.
Like a good
car mechanic, people like her seem to be hard to come by. Her 'deskside'
manner shouldn't be reserved to the medical profession. If the attorney you are
looking
for needs
to be a 'real' person, as well as a professional, Beth and I would have to say
we couldn't have been luckier.
Now; unless
you are very nieve (and we were fairly so), you will
understand that no one can
guarantee an outcome either by settlement or in a courthouse. In our particular situation
we won
one case and settled a second. However, and as well, we felt that Teresa
obtained
a measure
of simple justice (i.e. It had nothing to do with financial compensation), not
only for us,
but for
other folks as well, perhaps someone just like you. The wrongful party in our
suit was
also denied the right to do business as they had been conducting it.
In the end
we're not much for gambling really and it's nice to know we won't have to do
that again, at least in looking for a business attorney.
What about
you? Are you ready to roll?
Or . . .
you can take our humble advice.
"We
personally and heartily recommend Teresa Persico as your new attorney!"
Sincerely,
George Accattato & Elizabeth Geist
